Improtheaterfestival: Collab:Lab - The Show

What happens when five artists from five countries spend three days creating from scratch? Come see the answer, live on stage

This year’s festival is dedicated to the belief that talking to each other is worth it. That being in true contact and bridging gaps is essential to keeping our world together and sane. That when we collaborate, we invigorate. So we present the Collab:lab. This experiment goes as follows:

Take 5 improvisers from 5 different countries. 5 different lives, cultures and perspectives on the world. Stick them in a room for 3 days and nights to discuss, agree, disagree, improvise, discover what unites or divides them … and let a show emerge. The result may be controversial. It may be shocking or touching. But it will definitely be a team effort.

Anja Bargum (Finland), Nisha Chao (Taiwan), Ramsi Lehner (Egypt), Roses Urquhart (UK) and Veronika Olah (Germany/USA) under the guidance of Lisa Rowland (USA) combine topics close to their hearts and humor. They'll come from far apart to generate a show that brings us all closer together.
